Born in 1970. After graduating from the Department of Administrative Engineering, Keio University, Hirakuri was involved in the formulation of Mitsubishi Corporation's IT strategy, later participating in the launch of two internal ventures: a consulting firm and iVision Shanghai. Following work with the International Institute for Strategic Studies, a subsidiary in Brazil, and in the company's business planning department, Hirakuri assumed the position of head of digital strategy in April 2019 and today leads Mitsubishi Corporation's DX initiatives.

Worked as backend engineer and mobile engineer, with one of his apps being selected in 2014 for Apple's best apps. Later, as an executive officer of Wantedly, went on to become project manager for a project involvingto handle project management involving the use of machine learning, and was involved in the company's public offering.

After working with a web production company, joined Wantedly in 2013, handling all aspects of its design as the company's sole designer. In 2016, went independent as a freelance designer, supporting a range of companies and startups with service development. Joined MC Digital in December 2019.

A native of Australia. In addition to developing promotional signage for Nike (an interactive design project allowing for customizing a design via the web), developed full-stack interactive content for Shue Uemura and other brands. The content he has developed has been exhibited at NTT ICC; the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa; G8; and Ginza Graphic Gallery. In particular, he excels at developing interactive content. Graduated from the University of Adelaide with a degree in biotechnology in 2005.
Thus far, I have largely focused on developing interactive services that revolve around the use of data. This involves incorporating a design that gives users a holistic perspective, then creating a system that lets users explore the specific data they are interested in. This allows them to obtain deeper insights. Using the new team we've formed at MC Digital and leveraging our respective strengths, we are moving forward with using AI to drive business decisions within the Mitsubishi Corporation group of companies.
While studying in the department of informatics and electronics at university, was affiliated with a research lab dedicated to speech recognition, and conducted research involving the detection of utterances in English. After graduating from university, joined a major system integration firm and gained experience in BtoB sales, then took part in the launch of a new business unit making use of IoT and AI. In 2018, joined an AI startup and served as the head of the system development division. Was involved in that startup's launch of AI services, as well as the deployment of AI at leading client firms and the development of numerous PoCs. A graduate of the Department of Informatics and Electronics at the Faculty of Engineering, Yamagata University.

In 2017, joined a firm developing a video streaming service and, as a backend engineer, contributed to the implementation of a subscription service involving multiple payment methods, as well as the design of the system's architecture (selection of framework and libraries). Holds numerous certifications, including as an information security specialist. Graduated from Hitotsubashi University in 2009.

In 2012, won the bronze medal at the Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad, as well as the bronze medal at the Japanese Olympiad in Informatics. While at university and graduate school, worked as an engineering and research intern at firms like Preferred Networks. After graduating from the Department of Information Science at the University of Tokyo, went on to obtain a degree in computer science from the same university's Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, with a research focus on machine learning.

After obtaining a Ph.D. from the Department of Physics at Tohoku University, was involved in improving and operating the data platform used by a leading Japanese e-commerce mall and promoting the use of data there. Joined MC Digital in January 2020.
Advances in mathematical science and information technology have enabled the creation of new ideas and technologies, in turn allowing people to expand their field of activity. My goal is to improve my skills while working with my colleagues in tackling practical issues and helping industries evolve.
While in high school, was actively focused on competitive programming challenges, and obtained the gold medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics in 2013. Majored in computer science at university and graduate school, focusing on research in computational theory. While there, took part in a range of programming contests like ICPC, as well as internships and part-time jobs at IT and technology firms. In March 2020, completed a Master's degree course at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo, and joined MC Digital in April of the same year.

While at university, worked as an engineer at a bio venture, leading the development of a genetic data analysis application for researchers. During that time, also researched methods of improving the performance of microservice architecture running at data centers. That research was recognized with an award for best new research by a young person by a Japanese academic society, and also took the grand prize at the Business Plan Contest. In March 2020, graduated from the Department of Mathematical Engineering and Information Physics, the University of Tokyo, and joined MC Digital.
Information technology has a high degree of ubiquity and universal applicability that should allow for realizing a major impact across the real-world sectors in which Mitsubishi Corporation excels. While at university, worked at an IT consulting firm, focusing on the development of cloud solutions for large-scale data. After graduating from the School of Environment and Society, Department of Civil and EnvironmentalEnvironment Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2020, joined MC Digital.

While there, was responsible for data analysis geared at improving the productivity of mining equipment and R&D into anomaly detection technologies. Joined MC Digital in May 2020. Has also received awards at data analysis competitions. In 2015, completed a course of study at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Hokkaido University.

After graduating from the Waseda University Faculty of Science and Engineering, was involved in the design, architecture, and operation of on-premises and cloud infrastructure at a major web portal site operator. In 2014, joined a foreign-backed consulting firm, handling the formulation of sales and marketing strategy and its implementation, data analytics, revamping business systems, and a range of other projects across different domains. Joined MC Digital in 2020.

Joined a leading automobile manufacturer and worked as a chassis control engineer. Starting in 2013, worked as a system engineer and system manager overseeingto oversee a team of over 300 global members. In 2017, served as a product manager for connected services, being responsible for service planning, business development, system design, and development management on a global basis. I want to revamp all of Japan's industries, including the manufacturing sector, in which I spent many years. By pairing the skilled talent of the team here at MC Digital with the wealth of industrial insights Mitsubishi Corporation has, my goal is to change Japan for the better.
After obtaining a Master's degree from the University of Tokyo Graduate School, joined a Japanese oil development firm. As a drilling engineer, was engaged in drilling planning and on-site operation of oil and gas wells in Japan and abroad, contributing to the safe and smooth implementation of projects. Went on to join a big data analytics company where, as a data scientist, performed analyses on client data, such as that from onboard vehicle cameras and telecommunications providers. Joined MC Digital in August 2020.
